In addition to being a very nice place to stay, the staff was awesome. In particular, and without getting into all the ugly details, the airline lost our luggage — we were getting ready to join Quest to Antarctica! The staff immediately, and spot-on correctly, advised us that everything we were told and promised at the airport when we reported the bags missing was false, right down to the fact that in reality no missing bags report was ever made even though we filled out all the paperwork. They walked us through exactly what to do to actually have the airline look for our bags, and then, as soon as the bags hit the BA airport they jumped into action, making sure the bags got to the hotel and keeping us advised by cell phone every step of the way. Not sure we would have gotten this level of attention from one of the big hotels.
